Greetings from Africa
Today is Tuesday Oct. 3rd We have had wonderful trying times but God is getting the Glory the following is a testimony of the last few days:
Sunday was awesome went to a slum 'Kibera" and ministered in a church prophecy was a real large part of the service... no one is moving to come forward with the alter call for healing but we are still believing for that to manifest amen..... Sunday night bus or (12 person van really) ride to Eldorit Arrived met the pastor and went to sleep.... Very moist room if you get my drift.... Nancy could not handle it so we started to look either to move next time to another room or change hotel.....Monday morning our first day in the "BUSH"
We left hotel at 8am went to next town to ground breaking of church that Darrin paid for the ground... Darrin struck the ground we had prayer and met pastor Vincent (we thought was from Bugama) We paid for a van to go to Bugama for 7 people drove two hours arrived in Bugama ..... Picked up something at one store.... drove down the road turned off the road on to an abandoned air strip turned off it onto a alley went to a house picked up keyboard and microphones... drove away from town down dirt road two guys get out to buy something we leave them still driving away from town we go down dirt road ... kind of 4 wheeling it!!!! For 30 minutes... then turn down a two rut road then turn down a cow path then turn down a sheep path and arrive at the pastor’s house..... We are freaked out .... ok! We are somewhere... but we don't know where... darrin asked the pastor "How did God find you here?" this in the end... so we get sung to then I preach 20 minute Nancy shares 10 minutes and we load up drive 2 miles to a village Mateka this is the pastors home village and church..... Ok we are suppose to stay 2 days here... not!!! So the next two hours Darrin get hit up for money.. I locate a way out of the jungle.... Nancy and Erica just flow knowing we will see real world again someday...... at 4 pm I meet with pastor Vincent and tell him this is good except we haven't eaten all day... we don't know where we are to stay (he is having other guest sleep on the floor of the church)... I tell him, "this is what is going to happen Darrin is going down the hill with your associate he is hiring a car to take us back to eldorit and we bless you but we must go." Darrin has already given all the money he has in his pockets away so I have to give him money for car ride back to town.. He leaves Pastor Vincent comes to me and asks, "Can you help me with breakfast? We have many people staying here and we need to feed them." I replied, "I did not tell them I would feed them, you did, so that is your situation to handle, not my responsibility."
Nancy was preaching to the woman and children when the car and Darrin showed up.. She finished quickly... we loaded... they asked Darrin for more money.. we left...
arrived back at hotel at 7pm ... we had not eaten all day.... went to hotel they would not give us better rooms we moved across the street and check into hotel ate dinner and went to our rooms... praise the lord... the ministry at this church in maketa was good any time we were asked to preach we gave it our all and forgot about the situation we were in but as soon as a meeting ended we went into "get me out of here mode".... but it was fun "after we were safe back in society..
Thank you for your prayers keep in touch

From day one God has worked in ur ministry: you wanted to evangelize so incorporation papers came in miracle/record time, walked to Austin dragging a cross, you spoke from the capital steps, Arlimgton Christian Cntr couldn't dent you. Frm Cotton Bowl to Louisiana after Katrina to Africa, He has used you well. Patience! Outsiders have come thru Africa for centuries its people paying the price in blood, sweat and tears. They may see you as another in a long line. God'll give the gift of trust then souls will be saved, healings will be done and His name gloified. You and yours are daily in my prayers.
